I can't believe Maka is mad at me over something so stupid. She thinks I talk about her behind her back. I never talk about her behind her back!

Goodness, I must say that I am very surprised at the two of you. Of all the pairs, I never expected this. You should be proud of yourselves! You are setting such a good example to all of the other parents.

Five points to both of you!
clockspinner: (oh shit)

i

whats that supposed to mean "of all the pairs"
jasmineofthewest: (You got it dude!)

[personal profile] jasmineofthewest 2012-05-26 12:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't mean anything rude by it! Not at all. Just that you two are such an odd pairing, it was unlikely that you would do well. But you've succeeded at accomplishing what this project set out to do, I think. I am so very proud of both of you!

Fair enough.

I guess really, it's the fact that two thirteen year old boys have made such good parents is the surprising thing here. I'm sure you can understand that, given how dramatic Teen Mom can be on occasion. Assuming you have ever watched that, I mean.

I might have occasionally, but television is rather confusing and I much prefer the nature channel.

jasmineofthewest: (One moooore thing!)

[personal profile] jasmineofthewest 2012-05-26 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
No, that doesn't sound dumb at all! I think it's wonderful that you are taking your studies so seriously. It's even better that you want to be such a good parent, even if it is for an... admittedly fake dragon egg. It shows that one day, you are going to make a fine parent.

I really feel like I should look into seeing if I can get the two of you a real dragon egg to hatch together as a more advanced school project. You would not be able to keep the dragon, of course. But it would certainly be educational!

Is there something the matter? I mean, if you don't want to, you certainly don't have to! It certainly is a tough project to handle and of course you would need more supervision than with a fake egg. But I imagine it would be fun! It's something to think about, at any rate.
clockspinner: (yooooooo what the fuck)

[personal profile] clockspinner 2012-05-26 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
uh
ill have to talk to wilbur and get back to you on that one

[personal profile] jasmineofthewest 2012-05-26 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
That's fine! This is not a decision that one parent should make on their own, anyway. See? You're learning about parenting already! Good, good.

And yes, I believe they do require heating via fire. I'm not sure how often, though. I am pretty sure that you can take it out on occasion? But I'm not an expert on dragons, so I really have no idea.
clockspinner: (i see youuuu)

[personal profile] clockspinner 2012-05-27 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
and i mean
how long does it take to hatch
what would we do over hols
i dunno about robinson but i sure as hell dont have a fireplace back home
specially not one big enough to hold a dragon egg
jasmineofthewest: (Buh?)

[personal profile] jasmineofthewest 2012-05-27 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Again, I don't actually have the answer to your question. I was thinking though, that it could be a project for next year, considering how close it is to the end of the school year.

jasmineofthewest: (Eyebrow raise)

[personal profile] jasmineofthewest 2012-05-27 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
I would like to point out that you should not 'duh' the person offering to try and get you a real dragon egg.

It is quite rude.

Right.

Anyway, once you've talked this over like the two good parents you are, please don't hesitate to get back to me! I am honestly excited about the prospect of watching the two of you raise a real dragon egg!
