The dratted cat has already run off somewhere. I think he does it on purpose. As certain as I am that he'll come back when he's hungry, if anyone sees a small Scottish fold, white with a brown patch over one eye and a brown tail, try and corner him and let me know where he is. He's kind of noisy.

[He looks around, a somewhat puzzled expression on his face. But then, he supposes, for someone used to sleeping in a tower..

With one fingertip, he pets the top of Fern's head]

Something to do with being under the lake, perhaps. Can rabbits swim?

Yes, small.

[She watches as Fern leans up into the petting. Unlike her mistress and hutch-mate. She has no problems being there.]

They can. But they don't like it. Their fur can be really dense, so sometimes their skin can get moldy.

[Smiling faintly, he squeezes her shoulder, gently tightening his arm around her]

It's only for a week.

[nobodyscrumpet]

[She humphs at him then turns more into him, burying her face into his shoulder.]

Who puts children into dungeons anyway?

[A quiet laugh escapes him and he bumps his forehead gently to the top of her head]

Salazar Slytherin, of course. I'm shocked that you weren't already aware.

[nobodyscrumpet]

[She pokes at him.]

You aren't funny.

[She would stick her tongue out at him, but she'd end up just licking her clothes considering how much she's snuggled against him.]

I am. You know I'm funny.

[Arthur smiles fondly, and squeezes her shoulder again as he tries to think of how best to distract her]

You're also a bad liar.

[She smiles a little and snuggles more into him.]

[And that's only because she's known him long enough to be able to see right through him]

You know, there's some tunnels attached to the common room where you can see out into the lake through the walls.

[nobodyscrumpet]

Everyone else is just too polite to point out how bad you are.

[She feels better now she's safe against her Arthur.]

A bit like that. I think the tunnel is mostly held up by magic, but it's a rather spectacular sight.

[He makes a thoughtful noise, then shifts to look at her a little better]

Ah, I'd forgotten.. I have a present for you.

[nobodyscrumpet]

[She pulls a little face]

I like my fish on a plate... But...Maybe.

[She looks up at him then almost beams.]

You do? Oh, what is it?

[As much of a brat she is and no matter how distant she can be with others. She is always such a little excited girl when Arthur spoils her.]

Haha, stay here a minute. I'll get it. Don't get too excited, now.

[He stands up, and drops a kiss on her forehead, before quickly heading back to the dorms and grabbing a small box from inside his trunk. After the Quidditch Cup, he'd given her the chocolate and sweets he'd bought for her, but this had slipped his mind.

When he comes back, he perches beside her again and hands the box over. Inside she'd find a moving model of one of the Quidditch players]

I know I said I couldn't bring back that beater you like from the American team, but I thought this might do.

[nobodyscrumpet]

[Victoria wiggles in excitement as he kisses her then disappears to his dorms. She pet her rabbits while she waited, talking to them about what it could have possibly be that Arthur had got her.

As he comes back, Victoria looks at the box then puts Fern down off her lap.]

Oh...

[She looks at the box carefully as it's given to her and opens it up slowly. Her eyes widening as her mouth drops open.]

Oh... Bunny... This is...

[She gives an excited squeak once she closes the box. Then puts it down politely and proceeds to wrap her arms around Arthur with a great deal of excitement.]

You are just far too much! You horrible boy!

[rule_britannia]

[He watches her with a small, secretive smile on his face, and laughs the moment she hugs him, returning the gesture tightly]

Horrible? Don't you like it, then?

[His voice is gently teasing - he's rather sure she does like it]

[nobodyscrumpet]

[She giggles]

Oh it's wretched. I just don't know what I shall do with it. I guess I'll just keep it in my trunk. There's no what I could put something like this on display.

[She doesn't even bother trying sounded sincere with her words. Because she's just so thrilled about having it. Besides, with the smile on her face, there's no way should pretend to hate it.]

[Ah, Victoria, he knows you're lying, but it's okay because you're not even trying to make it sound sincere.

He taps the end of his cousin's nose with one fingertip]

Let it never be said that I don't think of you, Charlie.

[Victoria wrinkles her nose as it's tapped.]

Well I should very much hope so, Bunny. Because if you didn't, then I'd be very concerned for your mental health.

So, about those horrible fish bubbles?

I could hardly forget about you, with how noisy you are.

[He grins cockily, and steps back, holding out a hand to her]

Come on, let me show you.

[nobodyscrumpet]

[She pokes her tongue out as she takes his hand ans stands]

I am not noisy thank you. It would be impolite.

[She straightens out her clothes, then puts Fern in her pocket.]

They better not have any buldgey eyes.

Some of them might have bulgy eyes. That's not going to frighten you, is it?

[nobodyscrumpet]

Not at all. I just find them frightfully unappealing. And just... No, I don't like them.

[rule_britannia]

Have no fear, princess.

[He takes her hand, and kisses the back of it]

I shan't let any harm come to you.

[nobodyscrumpet]

[She gives a soft giggle.]

Oh, Bunny. You are simply too suave for this world.

[He shoots a sunny smile her way and straightens up]
