So, it seems as though I might have procrastinated on this but,
Does anyone have an idea of what would be considered an adequate subject for writing a rap on? What type would even be appropriate?
Technically it's like free-style poetry, but what sort of elements should I be sure to include?
Alliteration? Consonance? Unfortunately this isn't my area of expertise because this'll be my first time attempting this.
But I don't want to get kicked out of class.
Also, does anyone know centimetres to inches conversion off hand?

If you're that worried you ought to ask Professor Strider about it.
I'm sure he won't bite.
You're related, aren't you?

We are but.
I don't want to let him down by not being good at it.
If I directly ask him for help, anything I do won't be as impressive.

Hmm.
I see your quandary, there.

I don't want to disappoint him.

[Perceptive, this one.
Mostly because he knows about failing to make someone proud]
[Filtered]
I've failed before. I don't want to do it with Uncle Dirk too.

Look.
You don't know how lucky you are to have someone who says they'll be proud of you no matter what you do. Now, I'm not saying this is something to be taken advantage of, but given what I've seen of Professor Strider, I don't think you could disappoint him if you tried.

I guess I'm a bit mistrusting of others sometimes, because when someone says something like that to me I have a hard time believing it.
I don't doubt his affections; I know he loves me and that he really would do all that he could for me.
It's more that... I guess I lack that faith in myself. Which is really weird to actually admit, just so you know.
I'm afraid something bad'll happen, too. Something I can't fix.
[Filtered]
I wish I'd been half as eloquent as you at your age.
But that aside, lacking faith in yourself isn't a crime and I'd say it's normal at your age.
What you can't do is let that uncertainty dictate what you do with your life on the whole.
What's the worst that can happen? Really?
[Filtered]
I suppose you're right, though. It seems to be a fairly normal thing throughout the upcoming teenage years too, from what I've read.
He could die.

There's more to this than you being scared of disappointing your uncle, isn't there?
