Second Trigger Warning
I'm not entirely certain what kind of illusion this is, but it is a very convincing one. A...very. Convincing one. I have no idea how it was accomplished, but whoever did it should be commended for their creativity, as well as for their talent.

Action
Do you remember anything strange, before this happened?
Action
Which is strange in and of itself, considering I don't...I didn't? Have to sleep. Nor am I certain when I must have blacked out, as I do a poor job of keeping track of the time, for the most part.
I was just...
[Thinking of how cold he always felt. Remembering Dolores' arms around his spectral form, unable to hug her back because he would pass right through. Or the look on Salvador's face when he first saw him like...that. Wondering how things could have been different, how things might be different if he could only feel close to his loved ones again.]
Action
[She can't help herself - she puts one arm around him, gripping his shoulder, gently holding him against her side while he talks. She knows she ought to be checking him over, but right now she doesn't trust herself to be able to do her job effectively]
Action
Still, being touched scatters his thoughts and he goes quiet for a moment to draw them all back together and attempt to come up with a diplomatic way to express them.]
I had been caught up in regret, is all. It is an ennui that frequently befalls the corporeally dispossessed, particularly when they are still surrounded by living persons of their old life. It's funny how something so simple as human contact can be so easily taken for granted, until you're facing an eternity without the possibility of it.
The last thing that I clearly remember thinking was what would I do if I had a second chance.
And then I woke up like this.
Action
It's strange to hear such old words coming from someone who looks so young, but she listens, circling her thumb over his shoulder. She's utterly at a loss - something like this defies even most magical explanation.
Without a word she stands, and checks him over to the best of her abilities - everything she knows, both Muggle and Magic, but it all points to the undeniable fact that he is very much alive and she has no idea why]
... I can't tell you how long this will last, darling. It's very possible that it won't be permanent.
Action
When the verdict is delivered, he feels less disappointed than he probably should.]
I wasn't expecting that it would be, to be honest. I would be quite disappointed in all that I've heard about the permanence of death if it could be undone like a prison sentence after so many years.
...But for now, I'm alive again, right?
Action
[She smiles, though it's sad, and she cups his cheek then drops a kiss to his forehead despite likely huffiness and protests. Then, she leaves him be, happy just to have had that short amount of contact. It isn't something she'll forget]
I think that I should allow you to go and enjoy it.
