In the interest of an unbiased study into muggle behaviors and cultural discrepancies, I require a ^muggleborn female student to associate with me or at the very least permit me to engage in observational behavior including but not limited to tailing, watching from the shadows, and keeping close records on all activities, correspondence, and so on. Do not waste my time if you are already well aware that you are annoying and generally distasteful.

As long as you're not out to make Muggles look bad or paint them in a bad light you can follow me around if you like. I'm Muggleborn and originally from the United States.

Um,I hope you won't mind spending a lot of time on the Quidditch pitch though...we've been training like crazy.

What is it about sports and muggles? Not to say wizards are less inclined to be sports fans but muggles seem to have so many different sports to involve themselves in.

Good question. I guess they just want to be good at something maybe? There are tons to pick from so I think everyone's bound to be good at one or another!
I just like to be outside and active personally. Staying inside all the time back home is stuffy and boring.

Why do they all want to be good at something physical? You can get outside and do something intellectual.

But you have to want to. And sadly a lot of people really fail in the academics department so I guess they feel they have to make up for it somehow.
Personally I enjoy a good combination of both.

So academics, sports, and magic as a separate field or lumped in with one of the other two?

All of them separate. Right now magic kind of ties in with academics for me. It's something you practice to get better at like anything else academic or sports oriented!

I really haven't been out and about in the Wizarding world that much to see how magic is used in everyday situations. Since my parents are Muggles and I'm not allowed to use magic during the summer I only really get to see it in action when I go visit friends.

I think magic is the best method of doing a lot of things. Cleaning is so much easier with magic.

There are also Muggle things that don't really have Wizard comparisons such as the internet, email or mp3 players.

Muggles and Wizards can learn a lot from each other I think. I really want to work in Muggle and Wizard relations when I graduate.
