[The boy doubles over in silent laughter, a wide grin on his face when he finally straightens. His signing is a garbled mess for a moment before he sorts his train of thought out]
[And he does move back, hopping on one heel, almost falling but keeping his balance with an awkward flailing of one arm. Once he's out of splattering range, he laughs again]
[Surprisingly, despite the obvious amount of force used, the pumpkin remains undamaged. Just to make sure, he begins to REALLY beat the shit out of it.]
[He jumps at the noise, then watches while Kurloz lays into the thing. It's a couple of minutes before he carefully approaches and touches the boy's shoulder]
[He immediately drops the bat and straightens, glancing back at Mituna with an innocent look, despite how his cheeks are just the tiniest bit pink with exertion, eyes just a tad wild.]
Seems pretty tough, should work good when you're flying?
[He pretends not to notice his hand trembling a bit.]
[Kurloz might pretend not to notice, but Mituna does, and without speaking he takes both of the other boy's shaking hands between his and looks up at him with an expression of confused concern]
[He clasps his hand around the other boy's arm, briefly and hesitantly, then turns his attention to the helmet, picking it up and tipping the pumpkin out of it. He taps his knuckles against it]
[He ducks out slightly from under the ruffling at his hair and makes a vague attempt at fixing the mess that's abandoned before it can really come to anything.]
Yeah, yeah! I can show you how to pull some wicked moves on it.

Hi--!
[He stops, and for a moment it seems that the cogs in his brain are slowly ticking over, then he lifts his hands to sign instead]
Hi Kurloz.

Hey Mit! Got your helmet and club there?
no subject
Yeah! Did you have trouble getting the pumpkin?

[Grins and holds up the pumpkin with a flourish.]
Let's call it Bob.

Bob. Okay then, it's Bob.
no subject
Good. Now, hand over your club and helmet and we can get this party started.

Do it, do it!

WHACK!

[He sure had almost forgotten about it]

Oh yeah. Want to check the broom shed? Maybe it got put in with the school ones by accident.
no subject
[Although, the longer this has gone on the more he's thinking it was never actually there]
Unless it walked out hahaha.
no subject
Maybe it did and it got so cold it decided go and join the school ones to keep warm?
no subject
Maybe. I didn't know brooms could get cold but I didn't know they could grow legs either.
no subject
[It's obvious he's only teasing and he ruffles Mituna's hair fondly, making it puff like a dandelion head.]
If you want you can borrow my broom until you find yours'?
no subject
Yeah, yeah! I can show you how to pull some wicked moves on it.
