Okay, everyone. We have a problem: Inquisitor Snow's threatening to cut off library access. This simply can't be tolerated. I think we need to work out a system to get things to those of us whose access is being filtered - charming the covers to look like others, smuggling things across Houses, the like. Our own little book underground! Who's with me?

As much as I'd like to get around his nonsense, I wonder if he's really bluffing when he speaks of getting the ministry involved. He'll already have them at the doors. Anyone he catches sneaking books about may be branded a dark wizard and used as a scapegoat.

I don't know if that's a bluff or not. But I think that people outside of this place are tired of the suspicion. We all spent the past year jumping at shadows during the war.

It's over and You-Know-Who is gone, but it's like Snow's refusing to move on from it. Like he didn't get some kind of award he thinks he deserved, and he's here and trying to get it like it was blood out of a turnip.

I'd be willing to send a coded letter to my mum, if that happens. She'd go to the Daily Prophet, and barring that, the Quibbler.

[Lyrl isn't going to say it over the journals, but he's quite sure it isn't over--that there are still dark wizards out there.]

Snow is using Hogwarts for political purposes, and giving him a scapegoat is just what he wants. He wants rebellion so he can say what occurred last summer was mere rebellion. He wants secrecy so he can say students were culpable.

We have to take care not to play into his hands.
