HOGWARTS. I have a terribly difficult question for you. One that has plagued the minds of many since the dawn of man. One could say wars have begun over such a complex question.

Which do you prefer! Dogs OR Cats?
Now I know a lot of you will be quick to claim cats, particularly when you may take them to and from school and they may also perch on your shoulder and breathe down your neck as you answer. Do not be biased, friends! Look into your heart.


Do you prefer playfulness, curiosity/fearlessness, chase-proneness, sociability and on some occasions aggressiveness?!??!


Or do you prefer the curious, sweet, playful, grace and entitled nature of the cat?

Personally I find myself preferring dogs! I do not say this simply because Geri and Frecki could very well smother me if I gave the wrong answer, but because they have been my best friends for my entire life!

I'd have to go with dogs, even if I ain't ever had one. Cats are annoying, and all they wanna do is claw up your junk and then piss on everything you love.

We are likeminded, professor! All of my roommates have cats. Though I do not believe they have ever clawed my junk, as it were. However! I have sat on them many times before, that rarely ends well.

I will thank the gods every day for such a blessing. Especially since everybody seems so fond of cats, why can we not keep dogs in the dorms?

You should purchase a school dog and bring it to class every day.

Cats are okay though. They're cleaner and smell better than dogs..you can put me down for that.

Cats, without a doubt. They're not so intrusive. Large dogs are nice too, but they slobber.

I do rather wish birds were an option here, though.

I much prefer big dogs to small dogs, the smaller ones tend to be more to deal with, surprisingly!

If you would like to vote for birds, I may consider opening it as an option!

Big dogs are startling when they bark, but overall they're quieter... and I'd much rather have that then the constant yapping and pestering of a little one.

If birds are an option, I would absolutely vote for them. Not as affectionate as dogs, but more consistently affectionate than cats, if you're the right person. On the chance you aren't the person they've bonded with, they are still the most aesthetically pleasing to have around. And they sing.
