im certain not many of you knewv of my birthday, but thats alright, it isnt too late to vwish me svwell one, or to offer me any gifts you might havwe. ill be in the courtyard for the record, if saying it to my pretty face is more your style.

[Steve hadn't seen the post. He only flipped through the journal every once in the while, preferring to spend his time doing his homework or practicing art or dueling.

So he has no idea it's Cronus' birthday. He doesn't really know Cronus that well, considering he's older and in a different house. Still, when he enters the courtyard toting along his sketchbook and textbooks, he's not going to just ignore the boy just because he doesn't know him. He was raised better.]

[Seeing that journal post makes what Murdoc is about to do a hell of a lot easier. He doesn't know how much he actually wants to give Cronus a present, but he hasn't misbehaved all that much since he arrived here. He SUPPOSES he deserves this thoughtful present. He strides down the hall looking pretty fucking weird with a guitar in his hand. What's even weirder is that the guitar has one ribbon tied around the neck of it. What a weirdo. It's black, acoustic and looks strange being held by Murdoc. So he's pretty happy when he can step silently up behind Cronus and tap him on the back of the head with it.]
