They would if they knew about magic. And that's part of the reason they're a threat!

But they don’t – this is all just based on a bunch of ‘what if’s’. You’re taking a hypothetical situation and applying it to real time and murdering innocent people. That would be like, say, me telling you that you’re a danger to society so you should be killed now while you’re still young and can’t do as much damage.
