Oh my god I have never been so bored in my life.
There is nothing to do and I've read all my books again. I can't even go to the library right now.
I'd hit up the Gutenberg Project but I did that last night and reading Kafka didn't end well.
[What does it say about a kid who has no problem watching the Human Centipede but the Metamorphosis gives him nightmares?]
I'm five seconds away from reading Excel Saga-Inuyasha crossover fanfiction, which means I'm about to be ass deep in stupid shit.
It's going to happen and no one will ever hear from me again. Dirk Strider will cease to exist and amalgamate with aforementioned stupid shit because I don't have Life Alert so I can't call anyone to help me when I've fallen and can't get up.
Also, Roxy seems to be sleeping more. This is solidifying my concerns that she is in fact bleeding to death.
[This actually may or may not be the case. What it boils down to is he is sleeping even less, so his perception on this is skewed.]

[He doesn't write anything else, and even still this is probably the most he's said to Sal since arriving. Awkward? Yes. Annoyed about having to be babysat? Definitely. It probably wouldn't have been as bad if he hadn't been dumped at someone's house that he hadn't even met before.
It takes a couple minutes, but he finally navigates his way through the house and finds the door to the study. Yes, he counts to make sure it is the right door, too. After tapping, he turns the knob and slowly pushes the door open.]

The far right wall is dedicated to three large book cases, all nearly full with books. The left half of the room is decorated with cat trees in varying states of shredding and all for corners of the room have small, half built and un-built electronics piled up. The only reason they really call it a study was because it had a long mahogany desk sitting close to the back wall in front of a large window. The desk had been a wedding gift from Sal's parents built by his father.]
Dirk, hello! [Sal is currently pulling various books off the shelves, a small stack already accumulated at his feet. They're all at least twenty years old, slightly musty but still readable. At the top of the stack is a Hardy Boys mystery.]

Hi. [How to conversation?] Are those the books you were talking about?

I saw the animated movie for this one a long time ago. Is the book any better?
