I am absolutely appalled at the degree of inappropriate subject matter that our students are currently discussing in their journals. You should all be ashamed of yourselves, and particularly so for discussing it with incoming first-years. Mr. Makara and Mr. Kishitani, you both have a month's detention, beginning on the first day of fall term. Mr. Makara, for writing the entry in question, and Mr. Kishitani, for encouraging the discussion, particularly among the younger students.

What in Merlin's name were you thinking? This isn't a 'friendly discussion about biology', this was getting students to discuss matters of a highly personal and private nature! And at the ages of eleven, twelve, and thirteen!

AND MY DAUGHTER AMONG THOSE STUDENTS!

You continued arguing about it being perfectly all right to discuss touching oneself after some of the younger girls said they weren't comfortable with it! They were right to think that their mothers wouldn't want to see them in the middle of a discussion like that, because they don't!

To the rest of you: I highly recommend you think before you write a journal entry discussing a topic of a sexual nature, and frankly, I discourage you from doing so.

No, i wasn't!! But they are all going to think i was the one who let the cat out of the bag, that i was the one who was went and told you about it. It makes me look bad because i look like some goody two shoes, no one at school going to trust me now!!

[She sighs and at least fef has calmed down a bit.]

I mean, i understand why you are so protective over me, i really do, you want the best for me and i understand why you would be angry about this, but do you really have to get so angry? I mean you can yell at me as much as you want cause i am your daughter!! But can you turn it down just a little bit for everyone else, please?

You are blowing this out of proportion. I believe I made it perfectly clear that finding this material was all my doing. Nobody thinks it's your fault. If anything, they think I went and snooped. I'll take the villain's role in this. You can blame me for it if you like.

[She sighs.]

I'm protective over you because I love you, Feferi. I don't want anyone hurting you. The Kishitani boy needs to learn boundaries. He doesn't know them right now and that's a big warning flag in my book that he might try and press them with you in a way that could hurt you, or some other girl or boy. Likewise, with the Makara boy.

My first reaction with someone that could hurt you is to get angry. I'm sorry.

No one's going to laugh at you. If they do, you give them a stink-eye and you move on along.
