Good afternoon everyone.

I know we've had a bit of a rocky summer holiday, but I'd just like slip a gentle reminder that there is a quiz for Defence against the Dark Arts students in week 2 of your semester. If you haven't started studying, now might be a good time to open your books.

Homework aside, I'm sure some of you have unanswered questions regarding the food fight that got out of hand during summer camp. Per investigations, it's been discovered that someone cast a hex on certain students that caused the irrational behaviour. The Ministry are pursuing leads and the councillors of the camp are being questioned, but I'd just like to take this opportunity to assure all of you that no there will be no disciplinary action for those who had been caught firing jinxes.

I look forward to meeting all of you when school starts.

That's correct. I resigned from my job a few months ago, but as I've told you before most of what I did was paperwork. I still don't see how that qualifies me as a professional, unless paper-pushing is suddenly a vital skill for field work.

Well we've already established before that I had them. And they wouldn't be secrets if I couldn't keep them. I really wasn't more important than any other person at my old workplace, but I don't think I can convince you of that.

I've had a lot of people accuse me of things, but this is a first. If it was the suit, I wear them just because I like them.

i just thought you wore them because they looked smart.

I do, but suits are generally associated with the government. In Muggle movies the secret agents usually wear them as well.

To be frank? Not a lot of people do, whether they're wizards or Muggles. In any case, I'm sorry to disappoint.
