Second Petal

I'm sure you've all be wondering why I've had the ground outside of Greenhouse One plowed as I did. To answer that, I'm asking for volunteers to help finish the job. You're to be planting magical seeds within the garden. When they grow, the vines will snake over the the greenhouse, and then roses will sprout from within the vines. These plants are of my own creation, and once fully grown they're quite lovely. They are charmed to collect sunlight and filter it into the greenhouse as well, so they won't be blocking out the sun like you might expect.

I would like for a few students to volunteer for this task. Consider it penance for all of the trouble caused a few days ago.

Also, every student in my class are to meet this Monday in Greenhouse three. We will be planting and growing orchids for Professor Donoghue and Professor Matteris's wedding.

Love, when it's genuine, is a beautiful thing, wouldn't everyone agree?

This meeting up to plant posies for professors.

This is also voluntary, right? I mean they're getting married great, but isn't that the whole point of a florist?

I would like to volunteer, Inquisitor Snow, if you do not mind.

I trust that it's only Greenhouse One that will be getting covered with these vines?
quasistellar: ([human] you must be kidding me)

Inquisitor Snow, I believe they're perfectly capable of deciding what kind of flowers they want on their own. I think it's awfully presumptuous of you to think that the entire school should have a say in every decision they make.

Unless the point of this exercise is to turn their wedding into something resembling the variety of Muggle entertainment called 'reality television', where every decision is dictated through audience input? I really can't see either of them agreeing to that.

[Tony fights the urge to write 'If it's your favor, you do it then'.]

Understand that, bonding, beautiful and all that.

I'm just saying, with all do respect, this is a magic school. So will we be using magic for this, or crawling around on the ground like muggles with hobbles?

I'm all for getting greasy, but dirt?

How about I just come up with a watering system?

I would greatly prefer if you didn't. Some of my own plants are quite temperamental towards sunlight, and even if you say they should be fine I would prefer not to risk it.

are we supposed to skip other classes we have on monday, or just go there on our free periods?

With all due respect, sir, why do we have to pay for what the castle caused?

I mean, it was wild magic. It's not like it was our faults in particular for what happened. It just had a negative and/or positive effect on us.

Has anyone besides you studied the effects these vines you created have on other plants?

I will gladly volunteer for the task.
What time would you like me to come by?
arrogantalloy: (T: 021 Not listening to that)

[personal profile] arrogantalloy 2012-10-06 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
Afraid of dirt? Uh, no.

And I'm not dropping this class, at least I offered up an alternative to me planting non magical plants.

I can even redesign the whole greenhouse watering system if you want.

Oh I wouldn't dream of it. But have you tested the effects on European mainland plants? Specifically those found on the Italian Peninsula. I have heard after all your skills are predominantly focused on Roses, and thus do need a different system of care.
clockspinner: (um...what?)

"volunteering"

[personal profile] clockspinner 2012-10-06 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
volunteer
right

hey humbert im not comfortable with how much this sounds like youre hitting on my sister

i know shes hot and all but im just sayin if you start talking about your tiddles im calling chris hansen
mysterytwin: (but why?)

[personal profile] mysterytwin 2012-10-06 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
But there's nothing logical to explain that what happened wasn't a freak accident, and the castle's old enough for some of its magic to flunctuate. I'd be happy to point you in the direction of the spell books I was looking through, Inquisitor.

What for??
quasistellar: ([human] go away grading exams)

I don't feel the need to stick my nose into every bit of business between them. I think that, in and of itself, is rather presumptuous; it's not my wedding to plan. Nor is it yours.
