Kishitani, you're making the assumption that stupid people actually have the common sense to know they're stupid. Do you realize, there are people in America who think that global warming is a political conspiracy? Idiots are experts at keeping themselves in the dark as to just how moronic they really are.

I'm not surprised about Pines.

I suppose they wouldn't be aware of how stupid they were if they were constantly surrounded by like-minded people. However, at some point, they must have to interact with intelligent people and the differences between their thought processes must have been obvious enough to be undeniable at the least and inspiring at the most.

Have you ever read Frankenstein? I suppose not, as you're pureblood. It's a novel that makes an excellent point. The mob, the vast majority of idiots that live in this world, will try and stamp out anything they don't understand. And people like you and I will always think in ways they can't comprehend. They won't be inspired, they'll look for ways to thwart us and object at every turn. You'll have to be prepared for that, it's the way of the world.

And I don't think he is, but I don't think he's all that clever, either. Certainly not enough to avoid getting caught.
