It has come to the Ministry's, and therefore my, attention that Hogwarts is in need of some... Assistance. Given the Headmaster's unfortunate inability to keep things under control at camp and even now under his very own roof, the Ministry has seen fit to appoint me High Inquisitor.

I can assure you that this is a very good thing, despite what you may be thinking and on behalf of the Ministry I would like to formally apologize for the events at camp. It is unfortunate that his carelessness would result in such an unfortunate occurrence. I can assure you that while I'm here, none of you will get so out of control.

You may have heard that it was dark magic responsible, but I can promise you that this was a lie made up only to justify a few rowdy teenagers. This will not be tolerated while I'm here, believe me. Everyone's safety is of my utmost concern, and it's up to me to prune the thorny hedges and keep everything nice and orderly.

With that said, I do not tolerate disobedience of any kind, and if I catch any kind of behaviour like what was displayed at camp, the consequences will be severe. This is the only warning I am going to give anyone. I fully expect to get along with every student here, however, so do not let my faith go unrewarded.

Finally, along with my position as High Inquisitor, I have also been appointed Herbology Professor. But considering the importance of the position, it would be best for you to refer to me as Inquisitor Snow rather than Professor.

With all due respect Inquisitor, I find myself disagreeing with your opinion. I may not 8e an auror or an Inquisitor 8ut I do know my peers. And many of them acted in manners that they would never act at the camp. And it seems to 8e ignorant to ignore the potential that perhaps there was people 8ehind it, people who want to harm the future of good witches and wizards.

My sister lost an eye at that camp. Are you sure you still think that this was just rowdy teenagers?

It's not a fight it's a discussion.
Any adult wanting to 8e a teacher should welcome the idea of discussing different opinions.

I have said it multiple times, but I had my own personal team of aurors investigate the site in question. There was no dark magic. I am not brushing it off, it is just simply not true.

I am well aware of the Jaeger problem, and that it has gone on far longer than it should have. Rest assured they will no longer be any kind of problem.

I don't know the legitimacy of whether dark magic was responsible or not, but I would rather that someone of your position and power did not just write my fellows off as "rowdy teenagers" trying to "justify" themselves.
Many were injured and it was unfortunate, but what type of positive environment would this be if we made it sound like they were being completely dismissed? Name calling is so very uncalled for in this situation.

How severe are we talking about? Severe in that punishment may cause a hinder to learning?

With all due respect, I would prefer to call you Professor while I am in class and you are being a professor, as that is why you're here. If I have to call you Inquisitor Snow during class time, I feel as though you are much less approachable than if I can relate to you as a professor.

They were the actions of teenagers with too much freedom. They got out of hand and Dumbledore failed to act. He was in charge, yet the situation got out of control.It is unfortunate that it happened, but blaming it on dark magic is letting those who were responsible get away with it.

That is simply not an option, Miss Lalonde. I am here, first and foremost, as High Inquisitor and that is the title that I will be referred to as. If you feel me unapproachable because of this, then you clearly have a problem with authority that you need to work on.
