It's nice to be stateside again. I flew back last week and head to Kansas tomorrow. Going through Muggle customs and then going through Wizarding customs is a pain. No one ever knows how to handle packages that say handle with care. Corrosive potions are something you can wash out of a sweater.

I should be back in time for the World Cup, Lex will be coming back with me to see it so I shouldn't be delayed. I'll have enough time to come up with my lesson plans for the year.

I hope no one is afraid of goats.

I hope that all of the staff and students are enjoying their summer holiday. I will let you all get back to that after a friendly reminder.

This summer London will be hosting a large Muggle sports event called the Olympics, as well as the Quidditch World Cup. The Ministry has asked myself to remind everyone to put their best foot forward with all of the international attention that will be on the city. You will not only be representing our Wizarding community, but Hogwarts as well.
