PUFFZZZZZzzzzz

HON3Y B4DG3RZ!!!!

[Nope, right now she's in the mood she could tattoo the Hufflepuff emblem in her chest and there's nothing you can do about it.]

((OOC: Also a small note: Latula joined the quidditch team right before the match, so she's the most recent seeker and now you have to deal with it.))

[There are a lot of ink blots and crossed out starts to this entry. Coraline seems to want to say something but isn't quite sure how to even begin.]

Oh forget it. I'm not even going to bother commenting on the match.

I'm starting to think I'm cursed or something guys. I seriously practiced that move a zillion freaking times. I could do it in my freaking sleep. I can't believe that I let something as stupid as the wind mess me up.

I'm sorry guys. I bet you're all pretty disappointed in me aren't you?

Really, now, Hufflepuffs, you can call yourselves Badger Moles all you want. We all know who played the cleaner match out there yesterday. Flinging Bludgers at the Chasers' heads inside the goal-scoring area? That's hardly anything to cheer and stomp about.

Natasha, Tony, I hope you're both all right. And same for you, Vladimir. I honestly wasn't aiming to hurt you.

As for the rest of team Ravenclaw: we played the cleaner, tighter match yesterday. That's something to be proud of, all right? We're not the ones bragging about winning a match where we tried to take someone's heads off.

Hey music club! Don't make any plans for the next three weekends, because you're going to be spending all your time prepping for the Yule Ball. I picked out a bunch of records at Dominic Maestro's last Hogsmeade and have our track list sorted, all you guys need to do is practice your butts off and make us look good.

Congrats to the Honey Badgers and on the subject of Quidditch, Odinson and I were talking way back on Guy Fawkes Night and we came up with a few ideas on how to make things more interesting around here when there's a Quidditch match.

Pep rallies!

Pep rallies are an American thing but they're used to boost morale and support the players before a game. There's music and games and all sorts of things. It could be interesting and bring some life to this sorry place.

I spoke to my dad about my family history.

It turns out my great great great uncle had a relationship with a Muggle woman who I think might be your mum. He kept a painting of her and...well, she looks a lot like you, dude.

Congratulations to the winners of the quidditch match. :) I missed most of the game, what happened? Is everyone alright?

[His writing seems more excited a bit messier than usual.]

I'm not very patient, yeah, you know that, well, I had a really great time. Check under your bed when it's convenient. I was going to wait but there's no fun in that.

After the thrilling match between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw yesterday, I have some news to help fuel along your excitement. The match was so thunderous, I may need a new pair of earmuffs for the winter months. In less than a month, on the evening of December 24th, Hogwarts will be holding the Yule Ball. There will be a dinner, followed by a night of whimsy and dancing. During the month of December, various dress robe stores will be visiting the castle to take orders from the students in case they wish to have new robes or dresses. 'Students may look as elegant as they wish, and they may not wish to at all.

Now, what ball wouldn't be complete without the voting of a King and Queen of the ball? All students will be able to nominate students in years fifth through seventh for the title of King and Queen. As well, all students will be able to nominate students in first through fourth year for the title of Prince and Princess of the ball. All students, and staff if they choose to do so, are encouraged to nominate students until December 10th. On the morning of December 11th, we'll announce the nominees for final voting with the winners being announced at the ball. I'd ask for the female students not to go overboard with any campaigning. I do enjoy a good rally to get support, but in previous years, some of the students ended up charming others so much that we had no Queen due to all the nominees being in the Hospital Wing for a week. Madame Pomfrey doesn't wish for the wing to become a dance hall, though I am known to do a jig or two when leaving a check up.

Please direct all voting to the enchanted cup at the staff table in the Great Hall.

One last thing, Hogwarts has been fortunate enough to be put on the ghost tour of Europe. Many new and exciting ghosts will be visiting the castle during the month of December.

[[MOD NOTE: This is the post to nominate for Yule Ball King, Queen, Prince and Princess. Everyone is allowed to vote ICly. That means you are voting as how each of your characters would vote. If your character isn't the type to do something like this, you don't have to do it, but we'd like for every character to vote. You have until December 10th to do this. Then we will announce the top votes for about 3 - 4 in each category and you will be able to vote for the final results. Please fill out the text box and reply to THIS post with each of your characters answers. Comments are screened. Here is a link to the character chart for who is in what years.]]
