So let me just start this off by saying I hate February.

Snow. Fun. Yay?

In other news, I joined the Quidditch team. I bet I'm definitely not like other girls now.

I'm the new Chaser. I need a new broom, though! My old current isn't gonna be fast enough, so I'll probably sell my old guitar to pay for it. As sad as it makes me to sell such a big piece of history... Anyway, do any of you guys have advice as far as models? I've got some gold saved up, so with the funds from my guitar, I should be able to afford a fairly decent one.

Also, don't think I'm going to be neglecting the band. Stephen and I are still trying to work out a few creative differences, but I think a merging is gonna happen. Maybe. It depends.

Happy February, everyone!

I feel like it was this time last year that people all started getting into a fuss about Valentine's Day. I don't see the big deal, especially not for someone as young as me. Mother didn't meet Father until she was nineteen.

And did you know there's more to February? Just look at the lovely snow! And I learned recently that it's LGD LGP Gay History Month. Homosexual History Month? I'm not sure what's the right thing to say. I'll admit, it's not something I think about often.

But still, that gives you two other things to think about this month. And there's also the Hogsmeade trip! It really is my very favorite part of being a third year! Well... Perhaps it's tied with Care of Magical Creatures. It's so interesting to learn about such wonderful creatures, and I really do hope we learn about pixies someday.

We might have a snow golem invasion on our hands! Oh man, there's this supremely creepy old dude who lives a few towns away from me who is always trying to get minty fresh with the young witches in the area. He specializes in ice magic! Do you guys think he might be lurking around the castle?!
