Is anyone particularly knowledgeable about cats? 

Mine has taken to killing spiders and bringing them to me. I would very much like her to stop. Sometimes they're not completely dead and I have to put the poor things out of their misery. I'm not sure what I did that would make her think I'm incapable of hunting for myself or whatever thought is drifting about in her vapid feline brain, but any suggestions for deterrents would be appreciated.

Who here has a sewing kit? Or, actually, who's really good at mending spells? I've been trying to do them myself but my mends aren't holding up all that great.

If anyone can help or has advice on how to make the mends stronger, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm glad those creepy things that followed some of us around are gone. Did anyone else have one? It got really annoying being called a failure 24/7.

The holidays are coming up pretty quickly. I'm going home for sure. It'll be kind of nice to get back to my recording equipment. I've written out a few new songs and I'd really like to finally get them down.

Oh, and speaking of the holidays we have the Yule Ball to start thinking of as well. The Music Club is going to be playing so we'll have to work on a playlist for that as well. I'm thinking we should do a mix of traditional holiday songs and some normal songs as well?

And more importantly...I'll need a date. Not a just-friends-date either. I'd like to take my date out beforehand. I'll even actually dress up.

Things are much better. Have been much better. I doubt there were a great many concerned but for the few annoying individuals who would not leave well enough alone, I am quite alright. The less said the better, honestly.

I'm not certain what Snow is thinking. Dark Magic like this is not something that could so easily infiltrate Hogwarts. He knows as much. I am beginning to suspect rather than being stupid, he is intentionally trying to hide something.

Far too early to go too far with such speculations. But I will certainly keep good records of these events for future analysis. Jumping to conclusions is the worst we could do in the interim. This makes two attacks in less than a year. There will be more. There can be certainty in that fact alone.

The chances of me getting a turkey the size of Rogers over Thanksgiving is high.

Everyone not American might not get it. But history aside, a turkey the size of non-muscular Gryffindors is really the only reason to celebrate the day.
